Στην Ελλάδα βρίσκουμε το είδος Ευκάλυπτος ο σφαιρικός (Eucalyptus globulus) που φτάνει σε ύψος τα 80 μέτρα.

Τα φύλλα του είναι μακριά , κρέμονται από το δέντρο και οταν τα βράσουμε οι υδρατμοί τους βοηθούν στην αποσυμφόρεση της αναπνοής.
